Leeward · Design-led web studio

Websites worth the voyage.

A one-man studio building bespoke websites for resorts, restaurants and independents — interfaces that feel as good as the place does, and bookings that come to you instead of the platforms.

Your best guests are booking through someone else.

Booking.com and Airbnb take 15–25% of every stay. OpenTable and TheFork charge for every cover; delivery apps keep up to 30% of every order. Across a season, that is real money — paid for the privilege of serving your own guests.

A website guests actually trust, with booking that belongs to you behind it, brings that home. That is the whole reason Leeward exists.

paid to the platforms every year, at those numbers — revenue a direct-booking site works to bring home.

Run a restaurant? Same drift — covers × average spend × platform cut. We'll chart your numbers on the call.

Three things, done properly.

No templates, no page builders, no juniors. Every site is art-directed and hand-built for one place.

  • Design & build from £1,000

Interfaces are the whole game. A bespoke front end that looks like your place and nowhere else — photography-led, quietly animated, fast on any connection.

  • Direct bookings quoted by scope

Move off third-party booking — OTAs, reservation platforms, delivery portals — onto a system you own, so the commission stays on your side of the ledger.

  • Care & upkeep £100/mo, all in

One flat £100 a month, for as long as we host the site — and it covers everything: hosting, seasonal refreshes, rate and copy changes, new photography, and same-week fixes. No per-change fees, no surprise invoices; a standing watch, not a handover and a goodbye.

WPT 03 · 15°18′N 061°23′W · The crew

A studio of one, on your deck.

You work with the person who designs it, builds it, and answers the phone — no account managers, no handoffs, no ticket queue.

  • Direct line

One conversation, start to finish. Email or WhatsApp, replies the same day, decisions in minutes rather than meetings.

  • Quick passage

Weeks, not quarters. A one-person studio has no queue. Most front-end builds launch within a month of the first call.

  • Standing watch

Maintained after launch. Rates change, seasons turn, photos age. The care plan keeps the site as sharp as opening day.

WPT 04 · 13°06′N 059°37′W · The manifest

An honest bracket, before we even speak.

Choose the scope and the manifest totals a realistic range. The exact figure is fixed on the intro call — and once fixed, it doesn't move.

Ship's manifest · scope of works
Estimated passage £1,000 – £2,000

Every figure covers design, build and launch — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices.

A 30-minute intro call: your place, your goals, an honest read on scope and a fixed quote. No slide deck, no pressure, no obligation.
